With yet another crowd of people waiting outside the palace gates, Sir. Caden looked out the window and let out a deep sigh. You'd think they'd be gone by now. It's been a whole month.
Needless to say, his older brother's decision to name him as heir apparent was not taken lightly by anyone in Belivar. In addition to the tabloids following every move, there's also the disarray within the family. Of course, his nephew, Morris' son, is upset that he wasn't chosen. In his mind, he was entitled to the spot, but that wasn't the case. To be the Grand Duke, it took maturity, a firm hand, and the ability to handle tough situations. Simply put, the son wasn't ready... and Caden is.
Still, he didn't like when his family wasn't in order. He was sure it was going to settle down sooner or later. Until then, it was business as usual.
