"Fritz and I are headed to the surface!" Marina called back to the other mermaid over her shoulder. "What do you say, are you coming too?"

"Try to keep up with me, Marina!" the bottlenose dolphin said, swimming past her as she had come to a halt.

"My fish friends Snapper and Puffer told me that they're throwing a ball at the Summer Palace tonight," the blonde mermaid said excitedly, clasping her hands together over the pink-hued scales of her sky-blue tail and then placing her intertwined hands over her heart. "I just love listening to the music! What if we sit on a rock together and listen and watch for a while? Oh, you won't tell anyone that we got that close to humans, will you?" she asked anxiously.

"Come on, girls! The surface is waiting!" Fritz the dolphin called from up ahead, closer to the shimmery blue underside of the water. "I can see the moon from here!"

"I'm Marina, and my dolphin friend is Fritz," the blue-tailed mermaid said to the other. "And what's your name?"

Naida could hear Rayman trying to call for her from the open window. He sounded like he was in distress. When she looks outside, she could see her husband had been turned into a duck again.

"Honey... Ales pranked me again. I can't open the door and I'm still not very good at flying in this form. Can you help me, please? I don't want to stay at Ducky's pond."

Okay, you can do this PG. How hard could it be to work a surfboard anyway? It was just a board! Should be easy enough! And for about five seconds she felt like that right until she smacked into the water below. Blue hands grab a hold of the floating board to station herself.

"Man, how do they make it look so easy on the tv? So not fair."

Naida. Era un nombre realmente bello para una criatura igual de hermosa. La suave orilla se hundía bajo los pies dracónicos de Trondo, el agua de las olas lamiendo ritmicamente las escamas de sus tobillos.

"Naida... Encantado de conocerte" y él fue honesto, puesto que de otra manera, la joven sirena lo habría notado de inmediato. Si por algo era conocido Trondo alrededor era precisamente por su impredecible temperamento, a veces frío y otras veces explosivo, una mezcla de elementos que podían crear una bomba de relojería al mínimo suspiro.

Pero su corazón anhelaba tanta paz y su voluntad estaba tan quebrada que ya sólo en sus ojos había una terrible melancolía teñida por la ira. La ira de las cosas que fueron y él no pudo ser lo suficiente fuerte para afrontarlas.

Naida lo miraba con curiosidad y una candida sonrisa, de esas que a Trondo le solian desarmar en cuestion de minutos. Sí, era cierto, el mar podía saber demasiadas cosas. Y por eso mismo, al dragón le causaba tanto miedo y respeto a la par.

"Lo sé. Sé que el mar lo adivina todo. Lo aprendí muy a las malas." dijo él con un rugido suave, casi mezclándose con el mismo sonido de las olas bajo sus pies. "Y me temo que mi vida ha sido en sí misma un gran pesar desde el día que eclosioné."

Soltando un suspiro cansado, los enormes musculos de Trondo antes en tension se relajaron por fin.

"Dime. ¿Es aquí dónde vives? ¿Es esto tu hogar?"

Oh, he was so nervous. The day of his wedding had arrived and he was fumbling with getting his bow tie done properly. He wanted everything to go without a hitch, yet deep in his gut the worry remains. What if one of his old foes tries to crash the wedding? So many what ifs were screaming in his head.

He took a moment to sit down, trying to take deep breaths. He couldn't let Naida see him like this, a bundle of nerves!

Ramon felt a bit queasy after the ride and sat with Naida at the bench, offering his hand for her to squeeze. He pulls her in for a hug, trying what he can to comfort her. He began to run his hand through her hair in an attempt to fix it for her.

"It's over now. I'm here. I've got you."

Naida could feel Ramon shudder a little. He really needed something to drink right now.
