Been having a “background headache” as I like to call it. Like I took some acetaminophen and it sorta helped but it’s still there. So question: what do you do for headaches?
can’t listen to the Anthony Bourdain book on headphones 😞 so question: any book/memoir recommendations?
what do you like to do in the summer? It’s so hot and humid where I am, feel like melting when I step outside
Hope you’re doing well! You got this 👏
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT 😭🤍 And I'm so sorry that you have a headache, I really hope you feel better soon.
For the headache, I would usually use a washcloth or something you can dampen with very hot water and press it against either your forehead or your neck, it soothe the muscles. Also, avoid any bright lights, put sunglasses on if you can even, if you think it's ridiculous.
For book/memoir, I could never recommand it enough, but it if you are interested by History and queens, Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser is a must read. Also, The Virgin Suicides which is my fave book ever, and The Roanoke Girls. And I have Mansfield Park by Jane Austen to read to get some stuff sorted out for the Regency AU so I think it would be a good rec.
As for what I like to do during summer is honestly eating ice cream, put my fan on and either writing or doing nothing. I feel the same way as you when I'm stepping outside tbh 💀 which often lead me to be distracted so, lazing out by doing nothing (or writing or giffing) when I get home helps.
