Song: Azealia Banks - 212

Pros:

Natural transition point

Explicitly taunting lyrics

This is a fun song about being in New York about a fun team from New York

Not lame

Cons:

No obvious crowd participation in the song

The Sirens are not technically in the 212. They play in Newark, New Jersey.

I believe there exists a more fun edit of this horn song in a universe where (1) I am a better editor and/or (2) singing explicitly about eating pussy at a hockey game doesn't go against social norms. Ultimately, though, I like how this turned out!

Song: Black Sabbath - Never Say Die

Pros:

Natural transition points

While not necessarily celebratory, it has a very "come on guys we've got this" energy that can be just as good

New York has had a rough couple of years. The "never say die" we can do this energy could be a good fit for them.

Not lame

Cons:

No obvious chant/crowd participation. Could maybe work to sing along with the "never say die" part

I am a big fan of goal horn songs that are just a quick line and a cool guitar solo, so naturally I'm a big fan of this. Thank you again to @orange-juice-speaks for the idea <3

Song: The Runaways - Cherry Bomb

Pros:

Natural transition point

Self aggrandizing

Includes a fun break for moaning

Not lame

Cons:

Nothing to specifically connect it to New York

Not really celebratory or mocking

No clear crowd participation (could moan along?)

It doesn't fit the mold for what I would consider a good goal song, and yet something about this song speaks to me. I think it would be really fun live and it goes well with the New York horn, so it is my second NY proposal.
