tell us about your bee character Nectar <3

Aaaaa Nectar! They are my precious gem <3Long post will be long!

It all started when @galileo-star made the comment one evening while we were playing overwatch that I should make a bee character and @reedwulf should make a moth character. I forgot what the reason was, but I started pitching ideas for the bee and kept coming up with things and fell in-love with it. Gali was even the one that came up with the very appropriate name!

Nectar is a honeybee of course. A special specie of honey bee. Every fluid is made of honey. Different viscosity and sweetnesses depending. Like the tears are very thin and watery and bitter tasting. I’ve been playing with ideas of having special glands that can infuse the honey with pheromones to help lure in food or make the food-thing more compliant.

Typically with this specie of honeybee, they are quite thinner than my chubby bee. Their stingers are very blunt and not used as weapons. They are more used as “release valves” for the excess honey. In a normal body-typed bee, food and such is stored in the body and broken down into honey. When full, it gets released from the stinger. This also prevents overfilling. Premature release of the honey before full can also be accomplished through other means of dilation of the glands and tubing. Stimulation can accomplish this. Most people would think only sexual means, but simply massaging the sensitive antenna can do this too. It can vary from bee to bee!

Obviously, Nectar isn’t like the typical honeybee of this specie. Nectar enjoys being full of honey. Not allowing the honey to be released when full makes the honey solidify into honeyfat. Though the release of honey is often involuntary, those, like Nectar, who wish not to simply do special exercises to have more control over this. This is frowned upon in the hive as it means the bee is engaging in activities that go against the colony. Being lazy and working less, not producing enough, using the honey for immoral means, etc. So Nectar is a solitary honeybee. Which they like more! They believe that it’s their body and they shouldn’t have to use it as just a honey-producing machine.

Nectar is also either gender or genderless. I typically keep them genderless, but can be depicted as their gender for the situation they are drawn in. My closer friends call Nectar “she” because they are identifying them as me. Which is fine!

Nectar obviously has nsfw features and used for other things like vore as well

This isn't related to art, but it is still an important question. Do you forgive the people who hurt you in the past, or do you hold a grudge against them? I am asking because one of your friends is holding a grudge. I am worried about him.

I honestly don’t know why you’re asking me this, then :P My opinion on what I personally do wouldn’t really change anything with anyone else. I honestly feel like this is baiting me into the middle of something that I shouldn’t be. This honestly has nothing to do with me and should be kept between the parties involved.
