You first meet Bucky during your internship, he was hesitant to talk to you outside of work-related things but he could never get your eyes off his mind. The way they sparkled when you would smile at him, even if it was miserably early in the morning.

Your internship ends and you go back to school, just like Bucky knew would happen but he’s surprised when a year later he sees you back in the building, at the same desk you had worked at before. You look the same, maybe more comfortable and sure of yourself now that you are a full-time employee here.

He can’t help but stop in his track when he sees you, you notice someone standing in front of you and look up to see him staring at you, you smile and it makes him realize he is just standing and staring.

“You’re back?” He asks, rushing himself to say something.

“Yeah, they hired me back after I graduated, I started last week but they said you were on a mission.”

“You asked about me?” He asked, a smile creeping up his face.

“Oh,” you stuttered realizing you completely gave yourself away, “I was just curious.” A blush covered your cheeks.

Now that he knew you were an actual employee here, and that he wouldn't be interfering with your schooling or anything, he felt like he could take your workplace friendliness a step further.

“Well, I’m just curious if you would like to go to dinner with me?” he asked, the nervousness evident in his voice, he lost his confidence after the first word, worrying he sounded stupid or was taking a step too far.

“I’d like that.” You replied, smiling up at him before Tony came and interrupted.

Remus was really down on himself all the time and there were many, many times he tried to break up with you. At first it led to fights and tears and him walking out, but you always got back together. As time went on though, you became less and less stressed by it, and eventually Remus would be like “I should leave you. I don’t deserve you.
