How I feel about this character
Jane is my favorite alpha! She kind of reminds me of myself or who I'd like to be because I can be rather skeptical to the point where I bother my friends but Jane managed to be a good friend despite her skepticism.

I ship JaneJake a little oops but not that much because of details I will discuss when I get to Jake
My non-romantic OTP for this character
Roxy. Gosh they are such great friends. They really care about each other and have each other's best interests in mind.
My unpopular opinion about this character
Idk that she's cool? Haha people seem to hate her a lot. Some people make her out to be the "girliest" of the girls but I don't really think she is I mean she wears pants a mustache so what if she bakes did everyone forget the first cake-happy character was Dad Egbert?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Closure with Jake. I want to see what's up with their relationship. There were hints that Jake knew Jane had a crush on him. Did they talk it out? Was she finally honest with him about it? I'm hoping for that.

How I feel about this character
I like Jake. I think he's a fun character with a lonely side to him that lots of people seem to gloss over.

No one, almost. A lot of people use Jake's subtle line about having thought about kissing Dirk as shipping fuel, but they totally forget that much earlier he had already told Jane that he was considering his options, which yes included Dirk, but he also considered Jane and Roxy and even said he would have gone out with Jane! But when you think about it's really sad that he's looking at the only people he knows to find a romantic interest. He is desperate for a boyfriend/girlfriend not because he wants someone in particular but for the sake of having one because he is just so alone. :( If I did ship him with someone it would be Jane, after he grows out of his insecure stage, because Jane has just always been there for him.

Also Jane. Even when she was beating herself up over not being honest with him and longing for him, she still listened to what he had to say and supported him.
My unpopular opinion about this character
That he's not in love with Dirk laughs (I hate dirkjake so much) and that there's more to him than adventure and movies.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Just to see him be single a while longer and work through his insecurities and not look for a romantic partner just because.

Roxy is rad she's so kind and silly yet lonely and careful and also a babe

I kinda ship her with Dirk because Dirk seems to be more open with her than with the others but I also acknowledge that Dirk is gay and won't be interested in her
My non-romantic OTP for this character
Dirk or Jane she's so great to them both but I think she has an openness with Dirk that doesn't match Jane's. That may have to do with the fact that Jane wouldn't believe her about being from the future, which has changed since then.
My unpopular opinion about this character
I don't think she would be all that physical with other people I think she would actually be kinda squeamish and prudish
