(I have a bad habit of writing too much. So, to prevent annoying anyone, I put this behind a read more! Sorry~)
By the time she had finally finished cleaning up the classroom, the sun had already begun to set over the horizon and the first few strokes of dark blue started to pave the sky overhead. From the window on the other side of the room, she could see the first few pale sparkles that would soon be bright stars. The moon was still nowhere to be found despite how late it was getting. Since the student body had been rather active lately, however, she assumed it would be completely full tonight.
Kurumi was rather fond of how peaceful things got during winter, but she was not pleased with how the days seemed to grow shorter and shorter. The blonde stared out into the indigo sky for a moment before gently pushing her hair over her shoulder and returning to her desk and collecting her things. The day was finally over and tomorrow was Sunday, so there wasn't any real reason to rush home.
In fact, she didn't even really feel like going back to her dorm.
It wasn't everyday that she had the luxury to have time after classes. More often then not she was stuck doing something for the student council or spending her evenings in the art room to work on a new project. Even when she wasn't doing that, she only spent her time with a handful of people. Not that she really minded as she'd been extremely content as of late, but.. she just wanted to do something else. Something different.
She stood in the middle of the room for a few moments, chewing on the inside of her cheek as she contemplated what to do. She'd finished painting her latest piece of work and she really didn't want to sit and think of something new right now, so that was out of the question. She had no council responsibilities and no homework to finished. The holidays had br-- wait a second.
Holidays. Holidays. Holidaaays. Ah, that was right! Kurumi blinked rapidly and looked around the room as if searching for the answer she already had in her head. The holidays meant that Christmas would soon be upon them. Christmas meant presents and presents meant that.. she stole a glance at her bag where something dangled over the edge of one of the pockets. A tiny bear she'd affectionately named Kuma. He'd been a present for no real reason at all, but Christmas was a time where you were really supposed to give someone something because you cared about them.
".. How idiotic," she chided to herself gently, the faintest of pinks falling over her cheeks as she made sure she had everything before heading out the door.
Well, at least now she had something to preoccupy her time with. What better way to spend her evening then to stare at all the shop windows down at the Breezeway?
So, without any more time to spare, Kurumi quickly headed home to change before she made her way down to the tram station. Since it was rather dark outside, she had faith that there wouldn't be many people out... however, that wasn't necessarily the case. It seemed that the loading dock for the tram was completely packed with students. Most of them seemed to of had the same idea she had and were all heading down to the boulevard to look at things.
Way to pick a great time to go there, Ume.
After pushing her way onto the transit, she took a quick look around for an empty seat before finding one right by the window on the far right. The seat beside it was occupied, however. A young male was sitting there, one who she'd seen before.. but she didn't think she'd ever spoken to. She went over the his appearance before deciding that he looked normal enough to sit next to.
"Excuse me, is this seat open?" Kurumi gestured to the open space once she made her way over to him, figuring it'd be more polite to ask ahead of time just in case he turned out to be a psychopath. Amber hues flickered over him once more. Silver hair that looked like the stars outside. A complexion that.. wait. The blonde blinked once more.
It was true that when you went to a school like Komoriya, it was only natural to see the same people on a daily basis. Still, there was something different about him. Like she'd seen him with..
"Ah, I thought you looked familar. You're Shoma-kun's friend, aren't you?"
