pre-party siffrin gets laid slime eggs in in exchange for room and board
It was accidental at first.
You saw the flyer with Crafted drawings on the noticeboard and, even with your limited Vaugardian at the time, you couldn't have missed the offered room and board in exchange for you to do something. You didn't mind having to camp out in the wilderness when you lacked enough coin to stay at an inn but… it was a job, wasn't it? It had something about an adults-only job written on it and you were an adult and more than capable of doing most jobs you were asked of.
It was only when you got to the address (after awkwardly asking for directions at least once…) that was almost on the edge of town, you were warmly greeted and welcomed in by these various shaded slimepeople once they noticed you were holding the flyer. Pretty quickly, you were sat down at the table and offered something to eat and drink once they saw the state you were in.
As you filled your stomach with delicious food, you felt a little… watched? Studied? They weren't being overly pushy or anything, just making light conversation as they looked you over from their seats. It made you feel a little self-conscious since you felt like you had to try and keep up with it as well as try to not choke on your food at the same time.
You had asked them about the job on the flyer and when you were going to start.
There was a lot of getting you comfortable, touching you all over, being inside of you… When you came to, your stomach was bulging with several small soft eggs and found yourself in the arms of the one who caused it as they stroked your full belly. It was an interesting sensation, being both full of food and carrying eggs you signed up for.
They cooed and petted you, explaining that you didn't have to do much else outside of relax and lay the eggs when the gestation week was up. At your confused look, they just patted your head and told you not to worry about it too much. It was a natural process, they said, so just tell them if you needed help with anything.
That group kept you fed and even held you in bed at night in the room they let you stay in, which was more than you deserved. But they still did it and it made you feel fuzzy on the inside, to be taken care of like that. Loved, almost. They seemed almost sad to see you go once the eggs left your body, having semi-merged together into larger ones from the time spent in your borrowed womb.
…You ended up staying with them several times throughout the years whenever you were in the area again, one way or another. They always seemed to recognize you right away even when you didn't realize it was them at first, despite having cut or dyed your hair. You thought of asking but decided better of it multiple times, it was just nice to be seen as someone special sometimes.
(You can't help but feel more than a little guilty that you couldn't stay when the curse swept through that town, leaving them behind without even stopping by to escape being frozen in time yourself.)
