Do you buy vinyl records?
I watched a BBC programme about the era of the LP--the long play or 33⅓ rpm microgroove vinyl record. I was curious as to who seeks out vinyl and wasn’t really surprised that 18 to 24-year-olds' are the biggest age group buying vinyl today. There’s a couple of cool record shops close to where I work in Soho –sometimes I pop in to have a quick look. BM Music and Sister Rays’ are within walking distance of each other in Soho. Another good record shop I stumbled on is Inside Eldica in Dalston.
I first heard this tune in a record store in Soho on the Way of the Warrior Vinyl (as the cd hadn't been released at this point). I immediately fell in love with it and brought the vinyl. As it happens I was going to see The Way of The Warrior Album launch at Cable that very night so it made everything even better. When each artist dropped their own remix of this, you could not describe how amazing it was. Never the less, the original is just as beautiful. Was such an amazing night, Shogun Audio never let you down.
