Top left is the Dutch 1970 Marianne Faithful compilation that I found yesterday at Raute Records in Braunschweig. It features some songs from her 1967 album "Love In A Mist" and the 1969 single version of "Sister Morphine" that she wrote and recorded with her lover Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It was her last release before the addiction dragged her down until the comeback in the mid 70s (while she was still on drugs). The Stones released their version on "Sticky Fingers" in 1971 without Marianne but again with Ry Cooder on slide guitar and Jack Nitzsche on piano. In 1994 Marianne finally won a legal battle for her songwriting credits.
