So, am just wonderin' since Gaster doesn't look like a goopy man in a dark room, is this an AU or a different kind of timeline?

I like to consider it more a different timeline than an au. The void isn’t directly associated with any specific timeline, so this Gaster out of some strange timeline where hes a twink instead of Goopster somehow ended up in this particular void that is gray instead of black. Infinite possibilities.
