it was not often, that he was able to appear as a force ghost. in fact, he had only done it a few times since his death. at the celebrations on endor, to leia, and to luke. and here, now. to palpatine. perhaps his attention would be better placed upon that of ben solo. however, that boy needed to walk his own path, and no amount of outside influence was going to be helpful to him. he needed to be focusing on himself; on rey, on the force. not the past.

the past - that the boy had indeed been right upon. it should be DEAD.
