Outlines, and a clear idea of where you want your story to end. Remember, you don't have to all your little side quests lumped into one story.

While I appreciate your suggestion, I know where this fic ends. I knew where I wanted it to end up but the specific words were eluding me.

Danny Phantom Reboot

So an idea I had for a reboot of Danny Phantom is to maybe focus more on his allies. I mean like they show up more often to help and eventually set up almost like a superhero league. Maybe a more linear story but still silly and goofy. IDK
