SiX 18, an international biennial architectural festival was held at the premises of Assam State Museum, Guwahati by SiX, a group of architects working towards generating public awareness about architecture.
The three-day festival featured works of around 30 architects with the aim of celebrating architecture that helps develop sustainable spaces by bringing the works to the public domain.
An exciting occasion for us as this was the first time our projects were displayed outside of Nepal. Our project Kalagaon Residence, a family holiday home in Pokhara, Nepal was displayed alongside Arch i Platform’s Harike Wetland, a project related to sustainable interventions for eco-tourism development located in the conservation area in Punjab, Northern India.
