Purple and pink are princess colors 👑 That is, at least, according to my younger cousin. I'm getting a little bit of crocheting done in the hayfield today. I started this blanket a few days ago and I'm a little surprised at how quickly it's working up. This blanket is for a larger little girl (as opposed to a newborn) so I chose to work with worsted weight yarn and an I hook to make it less babyish. Alright, be prepared: I'm about to spam everyone with baby blanket pictures. I've already shown several pictures of this blanket while it was still a work in progress, but today I've officially finished it. It took several days for me to agonize on whether or not I should add an elephant parade border, but I decided to settle on this simpler border because the blanket itself was rather loud. I originally thought that the colors themselves would be too loud. My mother actually picked them out and insisted on them, so I decided to give it a shot. I should definitely listen to her more often because they came out absolutely beautiful.
