Lingthusiasm is turning six!
In celebration of our sixth anniversary this November, we’re asking you to help introduce the show to people who would be totally into a linguistics podcast, if only they knew it existed! We're also doing a listener/reader survey for the first time to celebrate our anniversary this year! This is your chance to tell us what you're into on Lingthusiasm, what we could do more of, suggest topics and guests for future episodes, and also answer some fun linguistics experiment questions, which we might write up into an Official Academic Paper someday! (And either way, we'll report back on the results.) The survey is online, and will take 5-30 minutes (depending on how much you want to tell us in the open text boxes).

It’s October 31st. You know what that means? It’s Halloween! But it’s also MLTS’ SIXTH BIRTHDAY! Hurray!
I still can’t believe I have devoted myself to this story for six exact years and still going on strong! Thank you guys so much for your support and for sticking by me through all these crazy years. The original My little test subject fic may have ended back in Christmas of last year, but as you may well know the story is far from over. I know not everyone accompanied Requiem, with it being a prequel and all, and that’s totally fine – Requiem was just meant to fill the gap between My little test subject and the sequel so you guys wouldn’t be without content the whole year, while also setting up some important character traits that will play out in said sequel.
Requiem is now officially over! I uploaded the epilogue along with a little teaser for the sequel over here.
And now, I am proud to announce the release of the long awaited sequel I know you’ve all been waiting for... The first chapter of Always Gold is now up! Along with the official playlist right over here on youtube! And for the playlist, please feel free to recommend songs!
