the sudden expression for her feelings towards him felt otto feeling unsure. they were close friends, the best of friends in his eyes. perhaps once or twice he had wondered what would happen if they were more than friends. fear of ruining the friendship left him in his place and kept lupe as a friend. that’s what he thought she wanted and now, otto was unsure of his own feelings. his jaw hung open slightly, shaking his head. “it’s not that, i’m surprised is all...” the blonde looked over at the beauty, eyes widen slightly. “i convinced myself months ago that you only liked me as a friend so this is... wow.”

jolie loved it when isaac played --- he made the white grand piano come alive in a way she’d never been able to. whenever he started, she’d drop whatever it was she was doing and book it to the room. she’d made it a habit, too, to pull out her phone and record him --- it was something she’d started doing for the whole family. zoey, nova, isaac --- she’d film them in random moments, whenever they looked particularly blissful or happy, and especially when they weren’t paying attention. none of them had ever caught her, until now. a blush springs to her cheeks and she immediately lowers her phone, stuffing it in her pocket. “sorry, i just... i wasn’t gonna post that. i just really wanted to save it so i --- we --- could watch it later... i really love it when you play, baby.”

“we’re gonna miss first period,” danny murmurs against the femme’s lips, the brick pressing against his back in a way that isn’t entirely unpleasant. his hands move tentatively to her hips, still unsure of what he’s doing --- though she’s already taught him so much in just the short time they’ve been together. it’s been a huge wake up call, a huge contrast from his sheltered adolescent upbringing, and he feels like his whole life’s changed. he pulls back from the kiss, scanning her face. “though... maybe that’s the point...?”

as fox rolls over onto his back, he exhales, his mind still spinning. he looks over at violet, a goofy grin coming to his face despite himself. “um... wow.” it’s all he can manage to say --- he’s still completely speechless. it had been that amazing --- everything he ever hoped for, really. no... no. better than that.
