Paloma’s Bachelorette Challenge: Siya Kumar
Hi, I'm Siya Kumar. I'm originally from Windenburg, but I moved to San My after I finished school. Well, not immediately, I lived in Britechester for a couple of months. I wanted to become a lawyer, but I struggled with my classes. So I founded a study group. We met at my place most of the time. Whenever we met, I would cook for my classmates, who lived off junk food or that icky stuff at the cafeteria. Luckily my landlords let me use their kitchen for that. My grades didn't get any better, but I discovered what I really wanted to do for a living. I wanted to become a chef instead of a lawyer.
I didn't want to stick around in Britechester to get a culinary degree. I wanted to learn how to cook like a pro where the food is made and served. So I packed my bags and moved to San My. Much to the surprise of my parents, who were surprised _this_ is what I really wanted to do. I worked at different restaurants with different chefs and learned about different cuisines. To be honest, I worked my a** off to get where I am now.
I became a sous chef at the Spice Depot, the famous fusion restaurant in the Spice District. But it came with a price. I went to work, went home, slept for a few hours, and went back to work until a fire destroyed the restaurant about a year ago, and it closed. Forced to rest, I realized how much I had strained my creativity and my body; I was close to a burn-out.
Now, I have a successful food blog and Simstagram. But to be honest, this isn't exactly what I wanted. Right now, I plan to travel to explore new cuisines and learn new techniques and new recipes. Maybe open a restaurant on my own after that. I miss working in the kitchen. So... Why not start in Sulani? And get to know a gorgeous girl like you? We could dance the night away, shop fresh ingredients on our way home, and then I'm going to indulge you with my cooking.

Siya can talk about food and cooking for hours, and can cook and talk at the same time (Foodie). She knows what she's doing and will go full Gordon Ramsay on everyone who dares to criticize her, but isn't at her level (Hot-Headed). She also hates others making fun of her. But she learned how to apologize and make amends over the years. Her favorite hobby is dancing, and she prefers it to every other workout (Dance Machine). She's also quite good at playing the guitar and would love to play a song or two for Paloma. Siya aquired some skills in writing and photography for her blog and Simstagram. Siya also has a sense of humor, and makes use of it: be it by cracking jokes or infusing her blog texts with funny one-liners. She learned how to play the piano as a child, but never got good at it, and changed to the guitar as a teenager. She tried to learn how to sing, but, well, it's enough for some karaoke after some juice shots.
Siya has a younger sister, Devi, who is a psychologist. Devi is getting married next year and already turned into bridezilla, so perhaps it's a good thing that Devi and her fiancé Dinesh live in Windenburg, far away from Siyas quick temper.
Their dad Kiran is an engineer taking care of the numerous turbines around Windenburg.
Their mum Manisha is a work-from-home artist, who also teaches painting at Windenburgs community center two times a week.
I hope this isn't too much information @moonypyxels. I really tried to keep it brief this time. Btw. I wanted to give Siya at least all San Myshuno, Brindleton Bay, and Experimental Cuisine recipes, but when I did I saw these where tied to the SCCO Mod.
Only Siya’s formal outfit contains CC clothes and jewellery. All other CC are body details and hair. Private DL with CC included, if chosen.
