Spicy Grilled Shrimp Kabobs are prepared with juicy shrimp and colorful vegetables that have been soaked in a sauce that is spicy, smoky, and sweet. This is perfect for a quick and tasty barbecue.
Ingredients: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1/4 cup olive oil. 3 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 lemon, juiced. 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 red onion, cut into wedges. 1 zucchini, sliced.
Instructions: To make the marinade, mix the honey, cayenne pepper, black pepper, minced garlic, soy sauce, soy sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and lemon juice in a bowl. Pour half of the marinade over the shrimp in a plastic bag that can be closed again. Place the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. On skewers, alternate pieces of red bell pepper, red onion wedges, and zucchini slices with shrimp that has been marinated. Use the rest of the marinade to brush on the skewers. Grill the shrimp kabobs for two to three minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and fully cooked. If you want, you can serve it hot with lemon wedges and fresh herbs on top.
