meet the benevolent

A sheltered boy with loving parents. He wakes to the four walls of his home, but his head is out in the skies or over the great seas, the thoughts of a dreamer. A notebook hidden underneath a pillow, just within reach for when he needs to escape his parents sometimes.

All your life, you have been watched by your mother and father who claim they only want what's best for you. Some say you've got no spine with how you seem to just agree with whatever plan they lay out for you, and maybe they're right. But maybe it's also because you've never been one to make decisions for yourself, and at this point, you're not quite certain you would even know how. It didn't help that you've always been a person of very few words. People have never really listened to you, so you believe that nobody ever would.

meet the despondent: andrew rose

A twenty-year-old wristwatch and a half-eaten cinnamon bun. Dazzling eyes that curtain a heavy heart. Shoes gone worn out and muddy from his early morning runs. A grandparents’ boy. Thirteen years are still not enough to erase the bitter taste in his mouth when he hears his father’s name.

It’s hard, being around such loving and forgiving people, and not being able to get rid of the dark feeling that heavies your heart. It was a long time ago, sure, but the memories of what happened still remains. It’s shaped you as a person, you think. What was once a jovial and optimistic boy is no longer, and in his place is you. You’ve always put up a strong front, especially for your mother, which is why you couldn’t help the guilt when you felt relieved to finally leave your hometown. No one could blame you, though. You’ve been drowning for far too long.

CASANOVA - The first roommate. It’ll always be a funny story to you how you became friends. It definitely wasn’t friendship at first sight– you hated having to share his room with his current conquests and you didn’t keep it a secret. meet the idealist

They were the only child, so it should not come as a surprise that they don’t play well with others. They’re capable of accomplishing anything and they know it, as long as they do them on their terms. Don’t let their unruly hair and crooked glasses fool you, because they’re a quick study and hates to lose.

If there was one thing you hated, it was failing. Ever since you were a child, you’ve been a perfectionist. It was evident in the seatworks that you took home from school, and the way you hated colouring past the lines. Even in your relationships, you were a perfectionist. It was only fair, after all, that you demand excellence from the people around you, because you were always at your best. You may be good at a lot of things, but your hubris has always been your downfall.

There is a restlessness to her, an itch that she can never quite scratch, a desire to run away always bubbling beneath the surface. Being the youngest daughter meant the less responsibilities, and she was always sure life behind a desk would never suit her anyway.

You’ve always been  a wildcard, even as a child. You could never sit still– you were always longing to be out, immersed in the goings-on of the world. There’s a certain charm to your boldness, but your mother never thought so. To her, you were simply an unruly child, and she’d look at you with disdain while your father simply laughed in adoration at the mud stains on the hems of your dress. You’re definitely not one to take orders from anyone, and you sure as hell never will.

You’ve been compared to him for most of your life, however, and you can’t help but feel some sense of annoyance whenever he’s around.
