Oldschool Busta Rhymes Freestyle with a little skateboarding
This album is a really great example of what oddfuture do better then anybody else. It is simply an album of dope beats while Domo and co rap their asses off. The Alchemist beats are a continuation of his evolution towards a much more spaced out and hazy madlib style of production as oppossed to some of his earlier work that was mostly built on sample loops. Domo is the most “traditional” rapper out of the crew being that his content tends to schew away from the more angry and sadistic content of his peers. The album seems to breeze by me everytime I listen to it from beggining to end and it’s difficult to pinpoint a specific track that stands out. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing but it’s very solid music to listen to when your riding a train or driving a car. I think his original release is still the superior product and probably my favorite solo rap release from the crew but No Idols serves as great introduction to Domo’s corner of the ofwgkta universe.
Classic ofwgkta shit
