there is no story, this guy never had a cartoon or a backstory, he was just a dude you put temporary tattoos on

look even his official page on Mattel dot come don't got anything other then the facts about this thing

the only thing i can find about this toy that makes it slightly special is that it was quickly taken off shelves because parents found it waaaay too objectionable to encourage kids to get tattoos and threw a huge bitch fit at Mattel, so now its super rare and hard to find?

seriously I have more memories of the commercial for this thing-

and its the same goddam toy basically. you could make a Tattoodles movie and people would probs have more emotional investment in it cos it was around for longer then a month in 1992

i don't think this'll ever see the light of day. Barbie was a rich source of material to work with, there was just a butt load of stuff she's got goin on, and the barbie universe is very mailable to work with

This Tony thing makes me think about how there were 3 separate attempts to make a Stretch Armstrong film, one in 1994, one in 2008 and one in 2012-ish, and all fell through. And unlike Tony, Stretch at least had the barest of characterization: "He is a super hero, he fights the crimes"
