The way I hate the decision to make the Ingrids the bad guys so much most remakes really have no originality and all choose to continue to villanize a character that was never in the wrong in s1 in the first place just angry for very good understandable reasons

You dont need the ingrids to introduce the girl squad conflict cause the conflict is already there within the squad. Idk maybe adress the vildes racism as a way to introduce it instead (and I think the ingrids/pepsi max squads end up being very functional in that way cause they end up being the outside enemy that unites the girl squad without them actually ever adressing anything they did)
