Oh, how much I’ve missed SkamFr. How great it is to see le gang together, Elu being in love and Arthur communicating with his friends. All pain that is yet to come aside, isn’t that amazing? I love how different it is from last year’s emotions we went through, when Lucas couldn’t share his feelings with anyone.

Theories!

Hi pretty babes! First of all, happy new years to all of you in this beautiful amazing fandom. 

Soooo, the trailer from yesterday for the season 5 of Skam France really left me shook. I’ve been thinking a lot today of what it all means and i’ve come to a conclusion. 

I’ve heard so many people saying that the clip was also avaible in american sign language, which is amazing, but also quite odd because francetv slash has never given us that option before. So basically, it does seem like quite a big hint. Curious, I decided a few minutes ago to watch the clip again, but with the american sign language option. 

A few things appeared in the bottom left of the screen such as *electro* to inform the type of music playing. The most interesting part though, happens when Arthur is strattled by this rigning sound. We can then read the word *acouphène*  in the bottom of the screen. 

So I then googled acouphène. Now, I am no doctor so these facts will not be 100% valid and please correct me if they are not, but basically, acouphène is Tinnitus in english. Tinnitus is a condition where you may have a weird perception of noise or a ringning sound in your ears (basically like Arthur after everyone screams happy new years). It says that the sound can come and go, or be present at all times. Exposure to loud noises (such as in a club) can cause Tinnitus. It usually goes away but can last on a short or a long therm basis. 

So yeaaaah. After all that, I’m guessing Arthur will indeed suffer from Acouphène and that we will see through him how an illness (chronic or not) will affect him through his life. 

I am so exited for this season and the fact that we know nothing about it is soooo interesting. Thanks for reading if you have come this far. I can not wait for january 6th.

In the original Skam, the last episode of Sana’s season was a solid hour long and we got to see a bit into everyone else’s lives/from their POv like Vilde’s, Jonas’, Even’s. If David Baguette can’t really offer us that 5th season, I’d take that last episode over nothing tbh. It definitely won’t be as good and we won’t get to see everything that we could’ve explore through Elliot, but I feel like it’s more believable and doable if they can’t get a season 5 or the show renewed for that matter.

Just lying here thinking about Even and how we deserved his season. I guess I'll never move on :/
