That last ask about the asshole male lead was probably talking about Nathan Fillion on Castle. I hadn't heard that information of course but there had been rumors he was so mean that the female lead, Stana Katic, ending up crying in her dressing room

I couldn't relate more. What's even worse is that Stana carried this show for eight seasons - please, who was watching for Nathan Fillion after the first season? She made this show. He was just an assett to her incredible acting skills. Stana is able to perform chemistry with a paper bag. Damn, I hope she will find another way to shine but if she sticks with independent movies that's fine by me.

Honestly, Nathan is great but if we’re being realistic he was her comic relief. The show may have been named after Castle but Beckett carried that show 100%. The most interesting storylines were always about her, she gave the better performances, and her character was the only one that didn’t feel almost one dimensional. What were the showrunners smoking when they decided they could continue this show without her. It’s one of the most absurd decisions I’ve ever seen.
