when folks complain that Medvedeva was robbed because Zagitova was overscored
Sensationalist meme aside, please don’t get me wrong. I’m new to following women’s skating but was definitely rooting for Medvedeva. She was the only person I really knew about and I love so much about her. Without having any basis of comparison, it was easy to believe she was unquestionably the best, you know? Watching the SP last night and seeing Osmond, Miyahara, and Sakamoto really put things into perspective though. Pity that the judges play favorites because these three were really spectacular across the board.
I fell twice during my class on Tuesday (trying to do higher-level elements than I was supposed to) and so this came about.
