Hi! I'm new to Sherlock (binged hard in a week) and I've been watching vids (Rebekah TJLC explained) and reading metas (so many), and was wondering if you could rec some blogs? Ideally gif makers, meta writers, fic writers, news trackers...I believe in TJLC, and I only ship Johnlock. I'm also a giffer and fic writer, with so many ideas that have probably been done already, but there's no such thing as too much Johnlock, amirite? Many thanks!

OH GOD, I am the worst blogger on this site, honestly... I’m realizing this has been in my asks (tucked between a few song recs) for over a month, and for that I apologize profusely. WELCOME TO THE FANDOM, and I truly hope you have found a place here, or at least by now how found some other happy places to go nuts over <3

That said, I really don’t ever rec blogs because I always feel bad that I miss someone, so as per usual, here’s my callout to people who are blogs that appeal to your interests! <3

Fic prompt: Oliver teaching William how to cook

“And then a dash of salt,” Oliver said pointing to the canister by the stove.

“A dash?”

“Yeah a dash.”

“And what qualifies as a dash?” William asked with a inquisitive smile. “Is it less than a teaspoon?”

“Come here and I’ll show you,” He and William stood in front of the mixing bowl and Oliver took his hand and held it out in front of him, taking the salt he poured a little into palm. “It varies by recipe, but this is about a dash.”

“That’s not really an exact measurement.”

“Cooking isn’t always supposed to be exact buddy.”

Oliver tossed a few more ingredients into the bowl and began to stir it up.

“Can I ask you something?”

“Sure?”

“When did you learn to cook? Because Raisa says you hated helping in the kitchen when you were my age.”

“I hated work when I was your age,” Oliver replied. “But yeah, I learned about two and a half almost three years ago.”

“Why?”

Oliver smiled, looking out the kitchen to see Felicity sitting at the table, her laptop open as she typed seriously. 

“Because Felicity and I moved in together. And I didn’t want her to starve to death.”

“So you only learned to cook to impress Felicity?”

“Not only. I actually do enjoy cooking,” he shrugged. “But I do like knowing my family relies on me for some things. I like knowing that you guys enjoy the things I make.”

William nodded, as his gaze dropped. “But the cooking, did it impress her?”

“Among my many other great qualities. Why do you ask?”

“No reason,” William replied. A little too quickly for Oliver’s liking. “I can take some of these to school tomorrow right?”

“Yeah, of course you can.”

“Okay cool,” William smiled. “I’m gonna go finish my homework, but I’ll come back and help with dinner.”

As he shut the door to his room Oliver looked over to Felicity. “Do you know what that was about?”

“Zoe’s starting at his school tomorrow,” she looked up with a grin. “I think someone wants to make her first day special.”

“By passing my double fudge brownies off as his own?”

“Hey he did help. I can be a witness to that.”

“Funny.”

“I know I am.”

Hi, there's a scene in a fic where Robert queen had just died and Oliver had to step up (resentfully) and be CEO, and in the scene he's with Tommy in his dad's office and proceeds to destroy everything in the room. Pretty sure it's no island au, I looked through the tags but I have so many fics that are similar in my head that I can't remember other specifics. Multichap, for sure. Maybe completed? Think I read it on ao3, more than a year ago.

IKR?? I mean, he’s been through YEARS of heart eyes and eye sex and broody!oliver and angsty!oliver and otp drama…those kids don’t even know.

Exactly. They can ship it all they want, but they need to remember their place. Diggle had to deal with all that early UST, and the man needs his ship to sail.

I mean we need to respect the OG Olicity Captain John Diggle. The man has been through hell for his ship. He deserves this.
