I came up with a theory: I think cockroaches are intrinsically tied to the devil. I think they were once benevolent creatures, but one day one roach had risen above the others and he found this gentle life was no longer enough for him. He sold his little roach soul to Satan so that his brethren may have immortality and power, and he was granted his wish. But ofc nature will have it's balance and so there were consequences. So now — not only do they have to live on cupboard crumbs or whatever, they also must feed on fear. Which is why those fuckers are absolutely Evil and terrorize us. I say this because what God that is good and kind would create these creatures and give them the power to survive what even his most beloved creations cannot withstand? Something Dark has happened and now we are all paying for it.
