Soo question I'm kinda new to reading your fics but I like them a lot... Can you/have you ever done something with the skeldancers I like them a lot I imagine them to be like a sub category of ghouls
(I'm talking about the skeletons that were with Copia during twenties in RHRN)
Thank you so much, I'm glad you're enjoying my nonsense! This is such a brain-altering ask, I am so excited...
I'm embarrassed to say I've literally never thought of the Skeletons that way. I think being a dancer myself I've always just thought of them as hired humans like the crew, super literal. But now that you mention it...I'm intrigued and I kind of can't believe I haven't pursued this before! You've got my smutty wheels a-turnin' and now I've got 3 or 4 fics rattling around in my brain on the subject. So let's get into it...
THOUGHTS: SKELEDANCERS
The Skeleton Dancers are summoned much in the same way of the Ghouls, but they're typically only required for certain special projects and then sent back to the pit when their time is over. Because of that they never quite get the chance to get used to their new skin-coated, weirdly gangly, semi-human forms and stay a bit...feral. The very nature of being a dancer is so fleeting, even for humans, so they're even more hedonistic and reckless than the typical Ghoul. And their short time on the surface means they tend to stick to themselves, afraid to get too attached to anyone.
Of course there's always an exception, particularly if a Papa takes a special interest. Skeledancers are a bit too wild for office work, but their super-human athleticism and grace makes them well-suited for garden duty and other manual labor that no one else can really handle for very long. And should they find their way into Papa's bed, it's a moot point because he's...a full-time job and they are more than able to handle it physically.
It takes a while after the summoning for their bodies to fully develop, their loose joints filling in with hard muscle long before any fatty tissue. Only after they've been on the surface for longer than most get the chance to stay do they lose their androgenous appearance, sharp angles evolving into soft, inviting curves. The males tend to develop faster and more easily, lean and strong and eager to throw themselves into all the pleasures their bodies can provide as soon as possible. The females require a softer touch and a bit of patience, their transition much more complicated from bone to flesh.
Hyperflexible with relentless stamina once their development progresses, even the lustiest Papas have trouble keeping up with a supple young Skeledancer. But their innocence and trusting nature has an allure that few of them can resist. Combine that with raging hormones coursing through their ever-changing bodies, and they're downright addictive. They're especially curious, eager to ask questions and seek out assistance in learning how to wring every bit of pleasure out of their temporary bodies they can, while they can.
But since their time on earth is ultimately borrowed, they will doggedly try to protect their hearts. Unless, that is, the right person can promise them protection, affection, and most importantly...hope.
