Hmm...

Kind of gives a whole new meaning for that line, “Til Death Do Us Part,” that’s for sure, lol. In fact, even after death, they’ve still got ways to be together? Now that’s what I call super romantic!

Anyway, I feel like I could ship it as is, but I’d probably be more into it if they gave a little more development to Dry Mario. At least some magical glowing eyes to match Dry Bowser’s would be a good start.

Beyond that, I don’t see why not. They can either be the ever-after part of the Bowsario relationship, or they could just be...weird...skeletal versions of the couple that randomly hang around for...reasons...

...I forget how strange some parts of the Mario franchise are, tbh.

heavily referenced doodle of a mario exe that came to me in a dream

in the dream, i was playing this mario 64 romhack (been nicknaming it 'skeleton mario' for obvious reasons) where it starts with mario getting a letter from luigi, telling him that he's been taken by ghosts and mario needs to come save him

the romhack then played out like the regular mario 64 game, with only one difference: you had the poltergust, and you'd randomly run into ghosts and have to take care of them before continuing. if you had five or more ghosts in your vincinity, the edges of the screen would darken, and a warning indicator would appear at the top of the screen (not sure if it was due to dream stuff or glitching, but i couldn't read what the text said- just that it was in that colorful blocky mario 64 font)

if you didn't take care of the ghosts in time, a timer would start counting down and skeleton mario (black and white faceless mario with a 2d png of a poorly drawn skull floating in front of his face) would run towards you. whenever he touched mario, the game crashed, a bunch of generic creepypasta images would pop up on your computer, and it would copy a bunch of spooky symbols (pentagrams, zalgo text, etc) to your clipboard

the dream ended with me getting fired bc i was playing the game on a work computer, didn't realize the spooky text was on my clipboard, and ended up copy/pasting it to a client's paperwork. they were very upset about it.

playing catchup on brush week 2025, this time playing around with the oil pastel brush to try and get that 'storybook' vibe. he's based off of the palm pals plushies!
