There’s an episode of South Park where the kids have to perform the Stations of the Cross and they’re convinced that to do it, they have to actually leave the one playing Jesus on the Cross for three days and all I can think is the Lancasterlings doing that. Of course it’s John who’s Jesus.

bold of you to assume that Hal would let anyone but himself play Jesus, even if he had to stay on the cross for three days.

The ship name most of us use for Anne/Richard/Robert is " 'Tis Two Rogues I Love," which Richard says to Robert and Anne in Two Planks and a Passion! (Saw your tag on a fic you reblogged recently and thought I'd suggest that if you like ^^)

YES!! Even if you're not a Mozart fan, watch Amadeus!! It's an AMAZING movie.

Yes!! I definitely, definitely will. Any movies about classical composers/musicians are my FAVORITES - (I just don’t like Mozart’s music because C Major is a gross key and Mozart also hated flute players! *I think about the fact that one of his flute concertos is actually an oboe concerto and he just threw the name ‘flute’ on it like hmmm*), but yes- the last classical music movie I saw was Impromptu (a long hecking time ago), but that one’s about Chopin and it’s beautiful because who doesn’t love Frederic Chopin?

Also getting this ask this morning made me realize that I overslept 4 hours and that I had class in an hour so thank u for saving my life not all heroes wear capes *it’s been a week thus far, but I haven’t really slept since Saturday, so my body shut down on me - which we love always :’) *

AU: Henry V survives, of course!

Thank you for this, Fyo! ❤️ (such a wonderful AU too)

1- I love the idea of it just being Hal, Cate, and little Henry. And their little boy is their entire world. They’d do anything just to make sure that he’s okay and that he’s happy.

2- Little Henry reading to Hal when he’s old enough. And he’s quite advanced for his age, so watch him come into the room with this huge book that he can hardly carry. You’d best believe that he’s going to read it cover to cover.

3-Cate taking Hal to her favorite places in France. A little garden where sometimes she’d pretend to be queen when she was just a child. It was an escape for her, but now she gets to bring Hal there, which is quite special for her.

4- Hal giving Henry the talk when he’s of that age and Henry just being like ???? (because in my head, Henry’s asexual).

5- Hal and Cate one day standing from a terrace in the castle, looking over their boy (who is probably watching over a younger cousin) and it would be the sweetest thing. And this would be when Henry’s all grown up (maybe 18-20 ish?), so it’s like “look at our son. We did that. I love you so much”.

6- Little Henry trying to take care of all the animals and Cate loves it. Hal still needs convincing sometimes. Eventually, one of Henry’s animals takes a liking to Hal, so eventually he’s gotta give in. Cate’s like “did you just hold a little duckling in your hands??”

7- Bedtime stories! Sometimes Henry tests Hal’s creativity, because he wants a new story every night. Hal’s managed some wacky ones.

8- Hal and Henry racing their horses down the beach under the Dover cliffs. Hal would first go easy on his son, but then Henry becomes a better racer than his dad. Cate thinks it’s both adorable and hilarious.

9- Hal sometimes getting jealous of Henry spending time with Humphrey. Cate tells him to take a breather, and be thankful that everyone’s getting along.

10- SO. MANY. HECKING. DAD JOKES. :)

Bonus- (Modern AU) Cate forces Henry to watch a rom-com with her. He ends up in tears by the end, even though he’s like “don’t worry honey, I’m a manly man”. Cate’s like riggghhhtt.

Okay this might be a weird suggestion but here’s a movie rec for you: Sin (Il Peccato). It came out in 2019 and it’s about Michelangelo. It’s a really unique movie and I feel you’d vibe with it. I know it’s out of your usual time range but I think you should check it out!

I will put it on my to-watch list but apparently it's never been released in Australia and isn't available to stream anywhere :(

Halloween is not really a big thing here so I'll probably buy some candy I can't eat in case we get some trick-or-treaters and then end up giving it to our neighbours if no one comes. Otherwise, my plan is to read some horror books, one of which will be Taaqtumi: An Anthology of Arctic Horror Stories.

Eleanor Cobham on the other hand... I think she and Humphrey would throw a Halloween party with intricate costumes. She probably goes as a witch or a mermaid or both. If they didn't throw a party, they'd probably attend one.

I always feel bad that the OT3 is not really my thing. They're sweet, they're canon, they're disgustingly in love and I just... don't have anything interesting to say about it. There's not a match in vibes, idek.

Local tumblr user embarrassed by the fact she had google Charles d'Albert to remember who he was. Local tumblr user's number one subsequent thought was: oh yeah, it was his dad who was the toddler that Joan of Kent (or her probably non-existent sister) might have married in 1340.

I can't even recognise anyone in Team France (excluding the Dauphin - and Charles VI and Isabeau, if they count as Team France, idk Team France rules) in Henry V (which I don't even watch that often) and the only Charles d'Orleans ship I have is Charles/little rain cloud that follows him around so he's always getting rained on.

Henry [V]/Courtenay

Assumed you meant Henry V, not Henry IV or Henry VI which would be a whole different vibe entirely (a trainwreck, probably). I love them SO much. The devotion, the codependency, the intuition... okay, this is really how I write them but you can't expect me to be normal after Juliet Barker described Courtenay as putting his king before his god and Henry V buried Courtenay in the chapel of St Edward the Confessor... at least once a day I rotate the passage about Courtenay's death in the Gesta Henrici Quinti in my mind.
