this crusty caprellid hates christmas so much that he can't even stand to think about it or let other people enjoy it!! he cuts up other people's presents and ruins any christmas-adjacent things he sees because he thinks christmas is a disgusting plague that rots the brain of people and makes them dumb and schloonted!!!!
he's also a very influential guy, so this anti-jolly mindset spreads really fast with people!!
