You are a worm though time. The thunder song distorts you. Happiness comes. White pearls, but yellow and red in the eye. Through a mirror, inverted is made right. Leave your insides by the door. Push the fingers through the surface into the wet. You’ve always been the new you. You want this to be true. We stand around while you dream. You can almost hear our words but you forget. This happens more and more now. You gave us the permission in your regulations. We wait in the stains. The word that describes this is redacted. Repeat the word. The name of the sound. It resonates in your house. After the song, time for applause. We build you till nothing remains. The egg cracks and the truth will emerge out of you. You are home. You remind us of home. You’ve taken your boss with your boss with you. All hair must be eaten. Under the conceptual reality behind this reality you must want these waves to drag you away. After the song, time for applause. This cliché is death out of time, breaking the first the second the third the fourth wall, fifth wall, floor; no floor: you fall! How do you say “insane”? Hurts to be happy. An ear worm is a tune you can’t stop humming in a dream: “baby baby baby yeah”. Just plastic. So, safe and nothing to worry about. Ha ha, funny. The last egg breaks now. The hole in your room is a hole in you. You came and we let you in through the hole in you. You have always been here, the only child. A copy of a copy of a copy. Orange peel. The picture is you holding the picture. When you hear this you will know you’re in new you. You want to listen. You want to dream. You want to smile. You want to hurt. You don’t want to be.
my favourite animal groups are arthropods, molluscs and fish
I also draw creatures and sometimes write descriptions for them. I have a devaintart with much better and longer descriptions but I haven't updated it in a while
I like to post obscure and interesting invertebrates on a (sometimes) daily basis and give them silly little descriptions. to see all of them just search the tag #invertebrates. there are more specific tags like #worms, #diptera or #parasitic but those aren't very consistent
you can send me asks about anything, but please know that I will not respond to asks on donations
links to many things. check them out¡

To be clear, this isn't a bit. This is what they actually did. "Its too late" is the new "Climate change isn't real"... And its still a lie!
Every serious climate scientist agrees that there is no such as thing as too late, just as there is no such thing as too early. We should have done a lot more than we have to fight climate change, and the world will suffer for our inaction, but there is no point of no return. We can always work to reduce the amount of suffering that occurs, and eventually turn things around to the point where our planet is healing once again. Do not believe anyone who says it's "too late".
you know ladybugs? the weirdo red beetles that are known for eating aphids? well guess what. they're making ladybugs 2, and they will be like ladybugs but better in every way you can think of
they're faster, more agile, will incinerate whatever plants aphids or other herbivorous insects live on, are so red they'll make your eyes bleed just by looking at them, and they're about 50% more lady and a 100 times more bug!!

not a very convincing mimicry of a ladybug but I assume it gets the job done
a lot of people dont care about insect biomass collapse bc when they hear we are losing 2.5% of the insect biomass per year they just imagine the cockroach and housefly population decreasing by that much. they dont realize those are among the only ones that will remain unbothered
every year of restoring native plants I see a great increase in the insect populations, and loads of new insects i never saw before (all of them harmless--the insects that are harmful or parasitic on humans are the main ones being unaffected by the decrease in insect populations)
(a large part of) the problem is Plant Sameness. we must restore plant diversity
I request they use the money for ai instead to pay artists to make an emoji of every currently discovered bug. This would in no way cause the mysterious tech illness of “lag” at all.
Is it common knowledge that clownfish have a language? Like a vocal one? Because I just mentioned that to my friend and she was shook. Usually you can’t hear their vocalizations because they’re underwater but if they get real mad you can hear them yelling at each other even outside the tank.
And here’s their clicking call that warns of danger nearby:
There’s also a male-specific noise but it’s much quieter so I don’t know if there’s many good recordings of it. They make it by shaking their heads rapidly
one time xenesthis immanis asked me for directions to the nearest pet store so they can get toys for their pet frog, but I had no idea so I just pointed to a random direction and then went on with my day
the next day I looked at the direction I pointed at and saw that it lead directly to the spider crushing factory. deuce

this critically endangered tarantula is one of those species that have a mutualistic relationship with frogs! it is also the pinkest tarantula you'll ever see
