Memento Mori, friends, lest we forget the ephemeral nature of life and all that she gives to us. Today...is the end. Join the stream. It’s fun there, and today, for the next 10 hours, we will watch the cult we grew into for the last year...disappear. Go away. The clock will not stop. We will be children wandering, children wondering, and children growing. For those of you who were Annuses, and for those who were Unuses, or for those who were a mix of both, or...perhaps, you weren’t sure; go forth in peace. Remember death. Time is marching on. You can’t stop the clock. Death is coming. Thanks for the memories. “Memento Mori,” a symbol of our time with a cherished project, will exist for many long years, but the project it stands for will end so, so soon.
Remember: we are not masochists; we’re just testing the limits of our bodies.
My brother and I made this piece in honor of the channel—in honor of Unus Annus...in honor of the people who worked on this show. To Mark, Ethan, Amy, to all the editors, guests, and the like on the Unus Annus team and channel, thank you. Thank you for this year-long, cult experience. For bound in the chains of time, our aging hands hold the power for what we will do next...so, dearest friends. What will you do?
