Papyton parenting headcanons?

Oho! You’re in luck because I have actually been giving this some thought recently, and these are some things I came up with:

First, before the kid has even arrived, I can imagine the two of them getting very excited just going into stores and looking at the tiny baby clothes. They’re so small! So cute! And Mettaton is loaded with cash so that baby will have so many things it really doesn’t need. He’s sure he remembers someone mentioning that you shouldn’t spoil kids once but- he really doesn’t care. It’s his baby and he’s going to keep buying it things until they can’t fit anything else in the house. Papyrus just loves how happy Mettaton is about it all, coming home from each shopping session with more baby clothes and gushing about how tiny and adorable they are.

As for actual parenting, I’m sure they wouldn’t go without their faults as parents, but their never-ending love and support makes sure that kid always feels happy and protected. 

I like to think that Papyrus is often a little too soft with them. He’s the one the kids go to to get what they want, because they know he can’t say no. Mettaton has less trouble saying no, he’s a little stricter with them- knowing what it’s like to make people do as they’re told from years of experience in showbiz. Papyrus tries his best to stick to Mettaton’s rules with the kids, but when they do that little pouty face- he just wants to treat them! They have that skeleton wrapped around their little finger.

One thing is, though, none of the kids like it when Mettaton takes them to school. All the other kids will talk about for the rest of the day is how dreamy their dad is! It’s disturbing! No one wants to hear about how ‘sexy’ their dad is. No one. At least when Papyrus drops them off, the other kids just talk about how funny their skeledad is. That’s much nicer.

🔥 about teacher dads?

i dont really care for the dad!aizawa hcs that much? i love him with eri and i think he’s kind of a mess but he’s trying his best, but i don’t really think he should be any of the 1A kids dads. except like, metaphorically. i DO love fics where he takes care of his kids but more in a Concerned Teacher Way and not like actually...as their dad. most of them have good parents and i dont like aus where like inko dies and aizawa is midoriya’s father its just. weird and unnecessary. in most cases its cus the op is a freak: just say you hate women and go

Just Kids Being Kids

They planned it all out in the dorm the night before. No one could really remember who had started the joke, but it spread like wild fire among them. Midoriya was chosen to be the instigator since All Might seemed to like him the best. He was reluctant at first to play a prank on his favorite hero, but his friend’s enthusiasm quickly got the best of him.

“Before you start,” He interrupted All Might the next day as they prepared for group battle training, “could you show us a Detroit Smash? Not everyone has seen it up close.”

Before he could argue Kaminari jumped in. “Yeah I wanna see a Detroit Smash!” Jiro had to elbow him in the stomach before his snickering gave it away. The whole class seemed to pipe up, begging to see his special move and eventually All Might gave in.

“Alright but stay back, this is a powerful punch.” He instructed and the class took an obedient step back. He turned to the empty city before him, took a deep breath, and shouted “DETROIT SMASH!” The force of his punch topples building, but the sound of eighteen bodies hitting the ground behind him startles him. 

He swirls around in shock, thinking for one horrifying moment that he’d hit his students instead. Iida looks just as shocked at his collapsed class mates. They hadn’t clued him in on their little prank in fear he’d stop them. Bakugo is standing defiantly in the back, refusing to play along.

Kaminari’s laugh is what cues All Might in and he groans at the immaturity of it all. “Stop playing dead!”
