Skeptic Sites
For my fellow disillusioned youths here on Tumblr, I'm sharing a few good skeptic sites my dad showed me at the request of theladyjones. I hope they're helpful, and feel free to add on more, if you know of any.
Skepchicks - This one's run by a group of women, and was originally designed to look at women's issues with a skeptical view. It's now expanded to include LGBTQA etc. issues, education, parenting and art. They've also got Teen Skepchick, which is a set of clean articles, for those of you who don't want profanity in your reading material, or need clean sources for a paper or to show your parents, etc. Sites in Spanish, Swedish and Norwegian are also available.
Science-Based Medicine - This one focuses on the relationship between science and medicine. It has articles debunking myths and unfounded claims about various types of alternative medicine and treatments, from the viewpoint of the scientific method.
Bad Astronomy - This one's not so skeptic as the rest, but it's a great source for current articles about physics, astrology, and other natural sciences, and it puts it in layman's terms, making the blog a great bridge between the scientists and your average curious mind.
