Reason to celebrate: January 13, 2018 is National Skeptics Day. Skeptics Day motivates you to recognize and listen to your internal skeptic, and all of the hesitant people that you know. Not everything can be as good as it seems, some things are connected to be unsatisfactory, and points can simply get worse; right?

HAPPY NATIONAL SKEPTICS DAY
I don't know what to say here so, be skeptical of someone!
October 13!!!
Day 13 of Halloween is here, ladies and/or gents, and you know what that means! Haha. That's right, it's the haunted house day of Halloween. Know of any spooky houses with a history of unusual occurrences and grisly murders? Why not go poke around in them, or dare your friends to spend the night. I mean, really, what could go wrong? Good news non-believers! It's Skeptics Day. So hey, skeptics, if you don't believe in all that stuff, you'd be the perfect person to spend a night. I mean it's just an old house that 42 people happened to have been murdered in horribly gruesome ways in. Really, what's the worst that could happen? Way back in 54 Roman Emperor Claudius died mysteriously of poison and his young son Nero took the throne. No fiddles were reported at the poisoning, so Nero was ruled out. In the War of 1812 (and actually during 1812) Sir Isaac Brock and his 200 dudes shooed away an American army five times larger and won the Battle of Queenston Heights. In 1773 Charles Messier discovered the Whirlpool Galaxy (which is not a combination washer-dryer-cellphone). In 1923 Ankara became the capital of Turkey, replacing Istanbul (not Constantinople). Ashanti was born in 1980. She had quite a career, but isn't big anymore. Christopher Judge was born in 1964. He is best known as Teal'c on Stargate SG1. The flower of the day is flour. Flour, for baking.
