Hey, it’s Cami! I’m back with a different kind of post, but rest assured it’s still me! Those who have gone through my post history would know that this blog originally posted moodboards.
I've decided to coin a new aesthetic term based on aspects of skeuomorphism I frequently encountered during my childhood.
Skeuoffice is a term I made as a subcategory of skeuomorphism. As its name suggests, it focuses on office and corporate settings.
Like Frutiger Aero, the themes of Skeuoffice exceed aesthetics, as it is also built off a mindset from its era. Rather than having an obsession with making everything brand new and sleek, this aesthetic has an appreciation for retro electronics and decor. Additionally, unity, socialization and communication are portrayed through tabletop games and collaborative efforts.
