This is a continuation to this X-mas post.

So, in this AU, Clover sent them Christmas letters - got to the wrong zoos blah blah blah , King Julien is homesick af and all he wanted to do is get back to his actual home. But they didn't really know how to get back.

On another hand, the penguins decided to go for a spring break vacation with full hope that they wouldn't end up in Hoboken like last time. But they didn't know the lemurs sneaked in there ...

And surprise! Their plane crashed down on Madagascar island and met Clover who was in charge in absence of KJ. KJ, Momo and Mort are over the moon to be back home but the penguins are clearly not happy at all until Kowalski met Timo and distracted with discussing all these scientific things which I totally I understand, And Private meeting Ted- becoming good friends and ofc Rico with Pancho. And Skipper. He's already mentally preparing and packing everything to leave that place ASAP. Buttttttt his luck said the otherwise so they're gonna be stuck there for god knows how long.

And KJ faced with the whole "there's no peace between the lemurs and the fossas and crocodiles and other animals" problem which... kinda turned into a huge mess that almost killed everyone but hey that's next part!

Main villain of this AU are Karl, Crimson and our amazing* UKJ - they teamed up yes sooo peace out ✌️ !!

Y’know I’ve been thinking kinda on something.

Skipper’s paranoia likely comes from the fact that he’s constantly had to live in a state of survival. Feeling like he can’t rely on anyone because that shows weakness and leaves him open to get hurt again. That, and I feel he’s probably been constantly lied to. I mean, for all we know the Denmark betrayal could have been because Hans was lying about something big that ended up hurting Skipper in the end.

Forget what the exact episode was called, but this makes me think back to that one episode of AHKJ, where UKJ called KJ “the worst liar in the world”. And admittedly? For KJ? I can absolutely see it.

But someone that can’t lie, no matter how hard they try? I think that’s the kind of person Skipper needs. Even if he himself wouldn’t admit it.

In Skipper’s own words “Ringtail might be a buffoon, but he’s a harmless buffoon”.
