everytime someone talks about how their teens are seriously addicted to phones no seriously its a really huge problem theyre ADDICTED to SCREENS its CRAZY i just think of that teen i worked with whos mother was a manager and insisted to me that her daughter was ADDICTED to her phone and that she couldnt exist without it

and when her daughter was scheduled to work with me in the fish department, she was like, on her phone a little bit. but also i could get her to engage without issue, and do all sorts of little tasks around the department with me that needed done, and she would step up and follow instructions like no problem, and even take initiative on doing tasks thaf needed done that I hadnt thought to put on our list.

#toy txt post #skill issue perhaps #idk what i was doing different #and like when i say this. i did not really have to like. nag her between each task #i would make a list of what i wanted to accomplish that day between customers and we would just both bounce off it and she would even take #initiative on various tasks herself. she was always bathing those tortoises #so like. yeah maybe she does spend too much time on her damn phone but i suspect theres more going on than just #willful ignoring evil lazy teen screen addiction #idk #she sounded motivated about becoming a nurse #she took initiative in tasks. etc #skill issue ma'am #anyway hope that kid is doing well #and also hope her mom [redacted] for firing me over some dumb shit ♡#she didnt even like the fish that much. she was more into the reptiles. it was really funny. cos she kept asking me questions about #reptiles. and i was like. i am so sorry. i wish i knew things about reptiles to tell you. my head is just full of fish. you need to ask the #reptile department manager these things when hes here. he knows these things
