Since I shared this on other platforms--

As some of you know, I have a class on skillshare. Well, this morning they sent out an email to teachers to inform us that they'll soon be partnering with AI. How this'll help teachers, who knows. I chose to opt-out, but we all know how well THAT works. Skillshare produced my class so I'm not entirely sure if I can delete it, but I'm currently looking into it. In the meantime, please don't watch it. Don't give those jerks your money. They only pay me around $30/month, so it doesn't help me much if you do anyway.

I might someday release a class somewhere else, or maybe offer some kind of online tutorials -- we'll see! I don't currently have the bandwidth to make anything new, but who knows what the future holds.

Anyway, just wanted to give you all a heads up that skillshare's downward slide into suck continues.

I forgot to cancel my annual subscription to skillshare and I've been charged another $100... What classes should I take so I can take full advantage of the annual subscription before it runs out on February 8th 2026? I want to get better at writing and art and game development and music composition. Can I do all that in a year?

Considering starting online art classes. Maybe Skillshare? Then I can also take photography classes and maybe try ukulele again? Idk, worried I'll pay so much and then fall off it. Experience:

Another great class by Ira. I decided to take my drawing "something hairy" (from always drawing with Mike Lowery) as the character inspiration. The task for me was to simplify them without loosing their personalities. I've drawn many mini comics over the years. I don't think I've ever done storytelling with just animals. Let alone few words. In this class Ira really broke down each part of the story. That helped me take my funny idea of my pets odd relationship dynamic and convey it in a clear way. It was a very enjoyable process!

Can't believe I am 23 pages into my sketchbook already!
