Bad news and good news
So I have nowhere else to talk about this, and I need to. One of the big things that contributed to my misery when I was at my heaviest was hot weather and how it wreaked havoc on my body. I am prone to heat exhaustion simply on account of being a ginger, but more so because of my weight. I have skin folds and creases that were and are prone to heat rash. They are less now, but they are still there. In particular, I have a below-my-belly-button roll that I call my lower lubby-dub that folds, and at the side of it, it sometimes pulls. (I also have an upper lubby-dub. They aren't negative terms, they're just what I call them. Don't be a hater)
Anyhow, I ran home from work on Friday and felt stinging on my hip in the shower, and sure enough, I have a skin tear on my hip from my lower lubby-dub tugging and jiggling when I run.
Fat girl problems. I has them. I guess it's time to break out the chub-rub combating powder and ensuring the folds are dry to they don't stick and tear anymore. I really should be going to the doctor so this is documented so that when I reach my goal weight I have a better chance of skin-removal surgery being covered by medical...
The good news is that one of my coworkers was incredulous that I still have 56 pounds left to lose. She thought it was significantly less! So I must be looking damn good these days! :D
