Skinned Deep is a wild movie. The acting is pretty terrible with the exception of Warwick Davis who looks like he was having a blast making this movie as a plate chucking dwarf aptly named Plates. The film shines with its practical effects which makes sense given the director, Gabriel Bartalos, worked on make up on films like Frankenhooker, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Brain Damage, and Spookies to name a few. Also, I dug the bizarre look of the villains' lair that makes the house in House of a 1000 Corpses look quaint.
