Just re-watched skins season 5 and 6, first i was so close minded about gen 3 because I loved first two generations, so i thought gen 3 woudn't be so good as the originals. I ended up loving it madly💕. And loving Franky she was one of my favorite chracters and i dont understand why people hated her. I know a lot of people can relate to her, not only me. She was bullied at her old school and she dress up like a boy to keep things simple, the first time she ever went out with girl friends, she tried make up and girly clothe. So she actually was open to have a girly side(to people that wonder about her drastic style change) and then a random guy told her she was beautiful and it was probably the first time a guy called her like that. Then she develop a friendship with a group of people (Grace, Rich and Alo) so she always tried to keep it stable and helped everyone out at season 5. She wasnt 100% comfortable and she always had mental breakdowns, like the one she had at the end of season 5 when she was at the woods with matty and she tried to fuck him and then heard voices and shit. At the begining of season 6 she lost her virginty and tried to have her very first real boyfriend. Matty was sort of an experiment for me and she got bored because she wasnt ready to actually give to matty what he asked for in a relationship. Then she meet Luke( which i totally adore). She was at a different country and just told his boyfriend that they should see other people even though he didnt accepted. Theres a hot guy in Moroccos offering you a get away from averything. Wouldnt you accept it? And she didnt know that luke was bad. When grace died everyone blamed her. She wasnt even mentally stable and she was constantly head fucking people. But that people where her friends and se never had and the only one she did have blaming her when she need support. Then Luke re-appear and nobody was even comfortable around her so luke give her comfort. “You need to let shit go franks”. He was the only one that did that but he was distroctive as fuck. I thought this relationship was amazing it was so destroctive and toxic. We never so a toxic relationship in skins so it was good to explore it( i was in a similar one). And she look for him after her break down. But it was clear he wasnt good. I didnt like nick and franky because it started when franky started her emptiness from her adoption. But while she was in a mental break down she acted normal( not like effy that went fucking mental) and of course she fuck everyone up. But she was struggling with so much and she still helped mini a lot. So i think franky was fucking amazing and every change the writters made was explained. Fuck all the franky haters.
