Every trait receives a visit from the eldest trait at least once per lifetime - the trait considers keeping the others on the straight and narrow just as much his work as anything else he does. So every single one has found a pale shadow darkening their doorstep, really. It's just a few have found him there more than once. 

This narration will admit that the closer a trait is to the ones he considers his core family the more likely a repeat visit is. 

Death, however, will not. 

Anyway! The fact of the matter is: Death is at Vainglory's doorstep, having spoken to Aeon to assure himself the time to diverge from his typical path without allowing his duties to slip (in theory, if not necessarily in practice) and it's only due to a desire not to spook the other trait entirely too much that he knocks at the door, rather than simply pushing his way in.
