This is my first pride month as an enby, and third pride month as a bisexual
The journey has been difficult, especially in a household that is not quite queer-friendly, but it’s helped me connect with myself and my loved ones on a deeper level. I know myself more fully and healthily, and those closest to me have had my back the whole way.
Funnily enough, it’s helped me grow closer to my Catholic faith, and I hope to be a beacon for other queer Catholics who feel they cannot voice their crosses without being met with judgement. I pray that one day, we are welcomed with open arms — just like Christ did with the marginalized and the outcasts.
