Daily #SkipperDoodle: So, I've been playing the game Celeste. This is not her. This is Madeleine, who is the protagonist trying to climb Mt. Celeste. Its a game that's very subtly about mental health, and also very subtle about the theme of determiniation, gently nudging the player towards completion, but not being very upfront about it. Its a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it if you have the $20 on PC/Switch!

Apparently it's #nationalloveyourpetday and clearly, I have to get in on this. This is my little rescue family. Ewok, the oldest by a month, and Bella were a "buy one half off, get one free" deal at the SPCA about 8 years ago. Charlie was pulled from a storm drain at the post office by my mom, about 5 or 6 years ago now, and I nabbed skipper as a pup from the shelter later that year. Sure, I may be a crazy animal lady, but I wouldn't trade any one of these babies for the world and I'm pretty sure they eat better than I do half the time. I love my fur babies more than life itself.
