Pft, i wouldnt say "quite warm". I'm still wearing a jacket and I swear I saw someone in a scarf a week or so ago when it dropped to 15c for a few days..... Maybe just Warm for UK. Need to fly you to Spain when it hits 30c

yes take me to the good basking rock i require nutrients and energy from the sun .... and yeah i definitely only meant by uk standards haha, but i’m still hearing comments every day about how its so hot, we always have the doors open at work and one of my coworkers has the fan on full blast pointed at her at all times so ? ? ? i dunno man

the temperature drop the other week was totally wild, nobody knew what to do at all??? i was seeing people in full on winter coats and other people who refused to give up on the concept of summer and were still wandering about in tank tops and shorts, why are we as a nation so completely useless at dealing with any form of weather at all

Aww, the plight of living in a cold place... I'm sorry you cant wear shorts/t-shirt ... That's a real shame. But good on you for getting the confidence! :D

thanks!! shorts is a whole other hurdle to approach but it never gets warm enough here for me to feel the need to wear them ... 8) one day though!!

It makes me super uncomfortable to see ppl flatten chests on female characters (even ones who aren’t trans) and then pat themselves on the back for it like nooo that’s not good that’s enforcing an unhealthy beauty standard at best and pedo-y at worst… boobs aren’t inherently sexual OR inherently “feminine” theyre just something most adult humans have c'mon guys stop it

Yeppp I got on this tangent after seeing someone draw a proper, *empowering* flat Samus :) Samus actually isn’t even as chesty as I am wow, I thought she was “unrealistic” for being perfectly toned in spandex but then their proper version made her MORE toned so I guess not

Feels like they haven't learned anything from the reason their last two consoles left a bad taste in people's mouths. Nintendo owns some of the most famous and beloved video game IPs out there yet they still are launching with mostly gimmicky underwhelming 3rd party stuff and Mario kart/party. :(

Totally agree with ya. I dunno what data Nintendo are basing the Switch release on, but it does seem really out of touch with why people didn’t really pick up the Wii U and 3DS on launch. I’m going to break out of replying to you for the moment to mention that in less than 12 hours, Amazon UK are no longer taking pre-orders for the Grey console. I really doubt the pre-order link came up at 4am this morning, and you could no longer order before 5pm. This makes me think that Nintendo are trying to force a similar situation with the Wii, where the demand was extremely high and that kinda hyped people up a lot more and made people more likely to impulse buy. If there was a large amount of stock, I doubt Amazon would have run out in less than a day.

For me, personally, I didn’t pick up the Wii U and 3DS at launch because there was nothing in the launch line up that justified the extremely high prices in comparison to their more powerful competitors. However I picked both up after an extremely good exclusive came onto both consoles- Pokemon and Mario Kart. At this point the price of the consoles had come down considerably. For many people, the Wii U never did get to that point where they were happy to buy it for the relatively small number of games. For developers, the Wii was... not so worth developing games on. The hardcore audience had abandoned it, so it became known as a family console of “casual” games. While the Wii U was about as powerful as an xbox 360 and ps3, people were confused by the console. They didn’t realise it was a whole new console, its price was very high for the kind of specs you got, and the ports that developers made for it didn’t sell well so they stopped bothering to develop for it. So third party developers have really abandoned Nintendo consoles. The Wii U is a nice console, and what is on the console REALLY shines, but without those third party games... its not worth the money for some people. It doesn’t surprise me theres not a lot of third party games announced for the console, but what is announced.... is not worth it. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-01-13-nintendo-confirms-switch-launch-lineup-of-games is apparently everything confirmed for this year We’re talking 16 titles with at least a vague idea of what quarter they’ll release in. First party games are in really good shape: New Zelda, re-release of good Mario Kart, new Splatoon (First was VERY well received), New Mario. Third party... not so. Even vague 2017 release day games aren’t that great. Nothing there pushes the console sales, because most of it is released on other platforms (And just WHY street fighter TWO?) About the only thing I think could possibly push the console is Skyrim and... its a 5 year old game that recently got a better release. But I think people will want it for the portability. However release day games in particular. Breath of the Wild is the only thing I really think is a console seller, and with it launching on the Wii U on the same day... for me theres not a lot of reason to upgrade right now. I can still play the game, or I could wait for more stock and more titles. I personally think if Mario Kart was releasing on Launch Day, it would have a far stronger line up. Same-screen multiplayer is very rare right now. If it was pushed for release, it could really cement the Switch as THE home for multiplayer with the person you’re playing with being right next to you. And this might just push more units. I think the same with a Mario Party title too. Like they’re not as Good a titles as other ones Nintendo can make, but they are fun games that families enjoy. It plays to “Nintendo is a family console!”, but with Breath of the Wild, kinda attracts that hard core gamer more. You get a little bit of both audiences there. And the larger and more varied the audience is from launch, the more likely it is developers will want to continue to support the console. Thats a huge concern I forgot to mention- the life of the console. The Wii U has really been dead since its launch, due to lack of 3rd party support... because of its poor launch line up leading to fewer units sold. (I have no idea how much sense this is making any more) I kinda want to know what data Nintendo is basing their decisions on, because it doesn’t really match to my experiences and kinda unprofessional opinion based on previous Nintendo launches. BUT my worries for the console ARE echoed by basically everyone in my department today and we have a lot of experience in new console launches, and got burned by the 3DS and Wii U I’m convinced they are trying to artificially create poor supply, as short supply has pushed hype quite well for the Wii, or Mini NES. But lack of varied launch titles, poor third party games, not many releases, high cost for console & accessories... it really feels like Nintendo are accidentally putting nails in its coffin already and its not even launched yet. I just hope the 2018 plans for the console are going to hopefully fix all the issues, but I will admit to not being too optimistic right now ): They really need to push their beloved IPs, even if its just Ports of Gamecube to Wii U games released on Cartridge. Like... that Wii Metroid game collection is a rare title, and brings back some well received 3D metroids. New Super Mario Bros, 3D World, Yoshis Wooly World, Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros, Twilight Princess & Wind Waker HD are all games that would work.
