SKAM

So with Skam ending I decided to go back and watch from the start. I'm only partway through Season 1 and I'm so amazed with the actors, the characters, the settings and basically the whole show. It's not overdone yet it's so captivating and interesting. The show doesn't overdo the dramatics like so many other tv shows and movies. Instead it shows us normal everyday things. Things we encounter in our own lives. The characters are so deeply flawed and none of them are made to seem above the others. Unless of course that is how the main sees them. What I find the most amazing is the ability of the creators - the camera men, directors, Julie, etc - to so effectively show us what the main is feeling or seeing. Going from watching Isak's season where Jonas seems like the best person in the world and the most understanding friend, to Eva's POV where he isn't trusted and seems almost mean was quite a shock to the system. Yet I am amazed by it. The characters are so different to the 2D characters we see in most tv shows. Skam is so intriguing, thought provoking, and also entertaining. The interactive nature, allowing us to see through the characters eyes, getting updates frequently, it's all amazing. So thank you Julie. Thank you Mari. Thank you to the actors. Thank you to the editors. Thank you nrk. Thank you to the characters. Thank you to the fans who translated the show. And finally thank you to us. The viewers. The show may have ended but we are still here and so are Eva, Isak, Jonas, Noora, Sana, Vilde, Chris, Even, Mahdi, Magnus, Yousef, Elias, Mutta, Adam, Mikael and even the Penetrators and the Pepsi Max girls. It hasn't really ended cause we're all still trying ti survive school.
